Scorpions, coyote and jackrabbits -- it's been quite the week for wildlife.

Last week this time, the cleaning lady sweeping K's general office area found two scorpions -- one live and one dead. They were little; and the littler, the more concentrated the poison.

On a visit Sunday to the El Paso Desert Botanical Garden, one coyote was prowling around 50 yards away. Perhaps he was after the handful of jackrabbits zooming around the brush.
